Jon’s expertise includes developing and managing Corporate Emergency Response and Business Operations for Colonial Pipeline. His key achievements include developing an industry leading Training & Exercise program, creating and managing a preferred OSRO management program, creating a comprehensive Site Classification System, implementing mobile data collection processes, and pioneering a GIS-based tactical response planning framework.​ His experience includes South Bow, formerly TC Energy, where he served as a Sr. Emergency Response Specialist and was instrumental in the development of a new Response Program as South Bow launched its first-ever crude oil pipeline operations in the US.
For over 20-years, Jon has worked with multiple Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) firms managing oil spill removal and cleanup operations. Jon has trained and led local, regional, and national response teams, including the application of ICS to manage Product Releases, Natural Disasters, COVID, Security Threats, and the worst Cyber Attack on a pipeline operator our country has seen. Clients rely on his experience growing & developing internal response capabilities and directing responders and resources to ensure safe, cost-conscious, and effective crisis management and recovery.
